Helsinki Dance Institute is the largest and most diverse dance school in Finland. We offer high-quality, progressive basic education in the art of dance for all ages, with over 60 dance styles and 20 locations across the Helsinki metropolitan area. We warmly welcome all who are interested in dance, creative movement, and learning something new.

At the Helsinki Dance Institute, dance is joy, play, self-expression, and goal-oriented practice – each in their own way. Our classes are open to everyone who wants to learn something new, move together, and discover their body’s potential and the courage to shine.

We offer a wide range of dance classes for babies and toddlers, children, young people, and families. For the youngest dancers, dance is gentle joy of movement, imagination, and safe togetherness. For school-aged children and youth, it means developing skills, self-expression, energy, and inspiring experiences across many styles – from ballet to breaking and from contemporary dance to K-pop. Family classes provide adults and children with special shared moments through dance and movement.

With us, dance is not just about steps and technique, but also about joy, a sense of achievement, and doing things together. Dance supports concentration, creativity, and self-confidence.
