We at Messukeskus want to make your participation as easy as possible – also with young children!

Below you will find a compilation of services and areas to make it easier for families with children to visit the fair. In addition to the usual services at the Children’s Fair, you will also find an event area with a nappy depot, a guarded pram park, a laundry and a breastfeeding point. Frequently asked children’s stickers will be available at each entrance as long as there are enough stickers.

If your child goes missing on the premises, please report it to the Children’s Search Patrol. Children’s Search Patrol circle the expo center during events. You can also report a missing person to the information point in Hall 6, where the Children’s Search Team will take the lost children.

Childcare facilities

Trolley park:

The trolley park is located next to the Little Children Programme Room in stand 6r4 (unattended) and in the Glass Gallery (attended and free of charge).

Childcare room:

For public events, there is a childcare room in the corridor of the Glass Gallery. The nursery has a toilet for the little ones, a nappy-changing area and a microwave oven.

In the nursery, children are under the responsibility of their carer and must not be left unsupervised in the room.

The Libero Diaper Depot (6s28) will be available at the event, with changing tables and a laundry area.

Breastfeeding centre

A free breastfeeding place (6s18) where you can feed your baby in peace and comfort. The point is hosted by trained support mothers from the Breastfeeding Support Association, who can give you tips and support for breastfeeding if you wish. There is a plug for those who use an electric pump and a microwave for heating milk. There is limited space for prams and pushchairs. A smaller breastfeeding station can also be found in Hall 6, stand 6g79.

You can also find treatment tables suitable for diaper changing at the following locations:

Hall 2 inva-WC

Allergy information

At the same time as the Children’s Fair, there will also be a Pet Fair Helsinki event in Hall 1-3. A wide variety of pets, including cats, dogs and small rodents, will be on display in the event area. There will be no animals on the Children’s Fair side.

Allergy sufferers should consider the presence of animals when planning a visit to the fair.

On Friday, the Pets Fair will be closed and the hall walls will be down, but there will already be pets in the Pets Fair area. However, this is the most allergy-safe day.
